Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2025

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (e.g. pixel tags, local storage, identifiers) to store and access information on your device. The use of these technologies is governed by the ePrivacy Directive (Article 5(3)), in conjunction with the GDPR. Cookies are small text files placed on your device to help the website function properly, enhance your experience, analyze usage, and deliver personalized content and advertising.

2. Types of Cookies We Use & Their Purposes

On our website, we use the following categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies – these cookies are essential for the basic operation of the website. They enable core functions such as navigation, security, or load balancing. Without them, the website cannot function properly. They are always active and do not require your consent.
  • Analytical / performance cookies – these cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website. They collect information such as which pages are visited most often and how users navigate the site. This data allows us to improve the performance and usability of our services. We use, for example, Google Analytics. The retention period for such cookies may last up to 24 months.
  • Functional cookies – these cookies allow the website to remember your choices and preferences (e.g. language, region, display settings). They provide a more personalized experience when you return to the site. They are usually stored for a period of several months (e.g. 12 months).
  • Marketing / advertising cookies – these cookies are used to deliver advertising that is relevant to your interests and to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns. They may be placed on our website by advertising partners such as Google Ads or Facebook Pixel. They can remain on your device for several months (e.g. 6–12 months), unless you delete them earlier.

3. Third-Party Cookies & Data Sharing

Some cookies are provided by trusted third parties to perform services on our behalf. Examples include:

  • Google Ireland Limited (Analytics, Ads)
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Facebook Pixel)
  • Webflow, Inc. (hosting & site analytics)
  • Mailchimp (newsletters)

These providers may access or process data collected via cookies. Since they may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), transfers are protected either via EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

4. Consent Mechanics & Control

When you first arrive at our site, a cookie consent banner will appear asking for your approval to use non-essential cookies (analytical, functional, marketing). You must actively opt-in (e.g. click "Accept") for these cookies to be placed. Pre-ticked boxes or passive consent (by continuing or scrolling) are invalid under GDPR / ePrivacy.

You will also have the option to Reject or Customize cookie categories (granular control). You can withdraw or change your consent at any time, with the same ease as giving it initially (e.g. via cookie settings panel). Rejecting non-essential cookies will not block your access to the website, only disable non-essential features.

5. Cookie Retention & Lifespan

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period (e.g. 6, 12, 24 months) or until you delete them manually. Specific retention depends on the cookie provider; we recommend that marketing cookies not last indefinitely.

6. How to Control or Delete Cookies

You can manage cookies via your browser settings - to block or delete cookies. Please note: disabling or deleting cookies may affect the functionality of the website (certain features may not work properly).

7. Updates to This Policy

We may revise this Cookie Policy as laws, technologies, or services evolve. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

8. Relation to Privacy Policy

This Cookie Policy is part of (and should be read together with) our Privacy Policy, which specifies how cookie data (when personal) is processed under GDPR.
